"My deep desire to explore various practices of embodied wellness and my belief in the value of building a sustainable healthy and balanced lifestyle were the major catalysts for my entry into this industry in 2002. Since that time, I have pursued dynamic growth by obtaining certifications in many formats - always following my passions and curiosities, even when one such interest led me all the way to achieving a 1st Degree Black belt in Hapkido! Over the last 22 yrs, I have had the privilege of supporting people of all ages, from all walks of life, to overcome challenges and reach their personal, health-related goals. I have found so much joy and purpose in providing health education and instruction that empowers people to heal and strengthen their bodies so they can live their best lives. At 55, I am filled with gratitude for how my own body has carried me through all of life’s mountains and valleys, how it has supported my very active lifestyle and continues to adapt and adjust with each new challenge and adventure. The longer I live in this body, I’m more convinced of this truth…the time + energy that a person chooses to spend on caring for their bodies is one of the most worthwhile and loving investments they can make in their lifetime."
Linda is available for private Personal Training, Private Pilates Instruction, and Private Small group Pilates Mat classes by appointment at Fitness Integrated Science.
Jessica is an NCCA ACCREDITED ACTION-CPT Certified Personal Trainer with a thirst for knowledge and a passion for helping others. She has spent the last 5 years training at Burn Bootcamp, with the last 3 years as Head Trainer. There she was able to change countless lives through education, motivation and encouragement . She is able to see what you are capable of and make you believe it too.
Jessica is a firm believer that balance is the key component to a sustainable lifestyle! She is also a huge advocate for tearing down the toxic “more is more” mentality when it comes to fitness. Mental health and physical health are connected and we have to take care of them equally.
“The focus of fitness should include the longevity of your body and just not reaching a number in the scale. Simply just doing “more intense cardio/hiit” isn’t sustainable without proper focus on joint health, strength training, recovery, mobility, flexibility, mental health, sleep, proper nutrition, etc. Each component plays a much larger role in your fitness goals than most realize. They deserve equal (if not more) focus. Your body will thank you on its way to reaching those goals!” - Jessica
Jessica has been married to her husband, Aaron for 16 years and they have two children, Emma (14) Mason (11). We are happy to have such a positive, inquisitive health professional on our staff!
