Frequently Asked Questions

What is Integrated Science?

Integrated Science blends biomechanics, anatomy, and structured movement to create personalized fitness plans that prioritize joint safety, muscular balance, and long-term physical resilience for strength and longevity at every stage of life.

How do I get started with Fitness Integrated Science?

Your journey at Fitness Integrated Science® begins with a personalized Health Assessment, where we evaluate your posture, range of motion, and movement patterns using evidence-based tools and Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT). This allows us to identify areas of weakness, imbalance, or dysfunction so we can create a program that supports your individual goals — whether you're recovering from injury, looking to build strength, or improving joint health.

To support your progress outside the studio, we also offer the FIS TV app, which includes a “Getting Started” video series and guided collections like:

Assessment Collection – Evaluate your own range of motion and identify key areas of focus.

Prepare Collection – Build foundational strength with beginner-level isometrics and mobility routines.

Living Better Collection – Target specific injuries or conditions with safe, joint-friendly movement options.

For structure and consistency, many clients begin with the 3-Day Fitness Plan and gradually work up to longer weekly programs or specialized challenges. You’re always welcome to explore at your own pace — and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

How can Fitness Integrated Science support me both in-person and virtually?

At Fitness Integrated Science®, we combine hands-on personal training and therapeutic services with virtual resources to support your progress outside the studio.

During in-person sessions, you'll receive individualized instruction grounded in biomechanics, resistance training, and muscle activation techniques. To supplement your work in the studio, you’ll also have access to guided videos, educational content, and targeted exercise routines via the FIS TV app — available anytime to reinforce what you’re learning.

New clients can schedule a complimentary 15–30 minute consultation to review goals and get oriented. For added support, we also offer virtual private sessions with Lauren, and our FIS TV Private Facebook Group provides daily insights, updates, and motivation to keep you on track wherever you are.

Can I Work Out With An Injury?

Always consult your physician first. You can follow Isometric Boost, C.P.I., and other therapeutic videos in the Activate | Joint Therapeutics collection. Go at your pace, listen to cues, and follow modifications for safe progression.

Are there structured workout programs I can follow

Yes! At Fitness Integrated Science®, we offer progressive, goal-based workout plans to complement your in-person training.

Whether you're working one-on-one with a trainer or attending group sessions, you'll have access to pre-programmed workout plans that are designed to train your entire body over the course of a week. These routines are built to progress day by day, helping you feel stronger, more stable, and more confident in your movements.

For continued support between sessions, you can access these programs — including member-favorite challenges — through the FIS TV app, where new videos are released every Monday and Wednesday. Repeating these workouts can help you improve your technique, reinforce coaching cues, and stay consistent with your goals.
