FIS TV workouts can help you maintain the results of your Personal Training, Muscle Activation Techniques, and Physical Therapy sessions,
FIS TV videos are designed to target major muscle groups and specific types of training to align with your specific areas of interest. An Online / In-Person hybrid approach can enhance your results and allow you to feel guided throughout the week! The FIS TV program is designed for progressive resistance training, from assessment, to activation, to isolated muscle work, and integrated exercise from body weight training to hypertrophy training with weights
Muscle Activation Techniques, created by Greg Roskopf, is based on the fact that muscle weakness can cause limitations in joint range of motion. When muscles are weak, and/or have lost proprioceptive input, then the joint that it supports becomes unstable. The MAT techniques are designed to identify and correct positions of instability. The goal of MAT with improved muscle contraction is to help you to move better than ever before with increased stability through that range of motion (Mobility & Stability).
Lauren is a Full-Body Master Level MATRx Specialist, a Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified Yoga Therapist with over 40 years of experience in exercise instruction, 35+ years of study in biomechanics, and nearly 20 years experience in treating muscle imbalances. She has applied her education to create effective exercises that help clients retain the results of MAT. FIS TV can be used to help you safely exercise in between your MAT sessions to help you get to know your body even more. Muscles get stronger with proper force input. Exercise needs to be safe, biomechanically based, and effective. The focus of FIS TV is to load muscles, maintain strength, and train muscle weaknesses through resistance training.
Recovering from an injury, managing chronic inflammation and pain, and post-surgery rehab can be arduous. Many people finish their PT sessions and still feel a loss of function. Going into your sessions with better muscle health is the key to better results with your health practitioner. FIS TV will teach you sound biomechanics principles to help you understand how to exercise without pain.
